Art Direction - Strategy - Web Design + Development
Lara Seresin is an Australian painter whose practice moves between landscape, memory and abstraction. The brief was to build a digital portfolio that gives the work room to breathe while quietly supporting the commercial realities of an active studio practice. The resulting site is spare, image-led and deliberately restrained, structured around bodies of work and individual artworks rather than conventional pages or products. Behind that simplicity sits a fully dynamic, hand-coded build with a bespoke artwork CMS and a tailored sales enquiry system designed specifically for one-off works. Availability, pricing and artwork data are managed centrally, while enquiries automatically carry the relevant work details through a custom form, allowing sales conversations to begin without introducing the visual language or machinery of traditional e-commerce. The result is a site that operates as both an evolving archive and a practical sales tool, without ever feeling like an online shop.
