SIMA has been championing improvised music and jazz in Australia for decades, operating with the conviction of an institution and the agility of a small team. The brief was substantial: a full brand refresh retaining the existing logo while overhauling palette, typography and eDM, alongside a ground-up website build designed to carry significant operational load. With a program as active and varied as SIMA’s - spanning multiple event series, touring, festivals and education - the CMS architecture needed to be genuinely intuitive, not just functional. The solution is a bespoke events and program system that simplifies complex content structures and removes friction for a small team managing a high-output schedule. The result is a robust, flexible platform paired with a refined design language that reflects the clarity, energy and calibre of the organisation it represents.
